Perry Lake

After seeing Universal’s “House of Frankenstein” at the impressionable age of six, Perry Lake grew up as one of those kids who liked monsters more than superheroes or cowboys. A lifetime resident of Northern California, Lake has published short works of horror fiction in the e-magazine Orion’s Child, including a variation of one of the stories in this book. He has written articles for several magazines over the years, including Fate Magazine and the prestigious Journal of Dracula Studies.

Lake has written and occasionally illustrated numerous independent comic books, including his own Cassiopeia The Witch title and the adult-oriented Demi The Demoness series and several Demi-related titles. He has also contributed to the anthologies, Tales of Fantasy and Fantasy Theater.
